HYPR Recon & Tournament X – Support

Welcome to the HYPR Support Center for our HYPR Recon and Tournament X Xbox Controllers. Below you’ll find guides, FAQs, and setup help to get the most out of your controller.

  • Xbox: Plug the USB-C cable into your console or PC.
  • PC (Windows 10+): Use a USB-C cable or Bluetooth. Your PC will detect the controller as a standard Xbox input.
  • Mobile Devices (iOS/Android): For Tournament X and wireless Recon models, enable Bluetooth pairing through your device’s settings.
  1. Disconnect from your console or PC.
  2. Hold the sync button + the face button nearest the left stick for 10 seconds.
  3. Reconnect and test your controller.
  • Remappable back buttons are pre-installed on HYPR Recon, while Tournament X has non-remappable back buttons.
  • Mapping is done through a simple button combo (see manual).
  • HYPR Recon: Features adjustable triggers, immersive triggers, and quick triggers at a flip of the switch. (Feature is only available on custom models)
  • Tournament X: Equipped with quick triggers, perfect for FPS.
HYPR controllers are designed with the same dimensions as standard Xbox controllers for familiarity and comfort, with slight variations in weight depending on installed upgrades.
Built using genuine Xbox Series internals, upgraded with performance mods including Hall Effect or TMR anti-drift thumbsticks, remappable paddles, FPS trigger kits, and cosmetic enhancements.
HYPR controllers are eligible for use in official competitive events such as CDL, Gfinity, and more. Please refer to each tournament’s rulebook to confirm compliance.
Compatible with all standard 3.5mm headsets. Charges via USB-C. Also works with most Xbox Series charging docks.
Bluetooth range up to 30 feet. Near-zero latency when used wired via USB-C.
Firmware updates for original Xbox controllers may not directly apply, but all essential updates and compatibility checks are handled during final QC before shipment.
