1. Intended Purpose: HYPR Controllers are crafted for standard gaming and should be used for regular gameplay only. Use beyond standard gameplay—such as stress testing or non-gaming-related experiments—does not align with our intended purpose and may void warranty coverage.

2. Warranty and Fault-Finding: While we back our products with a warranty against manufacturing defects, we kindly ask customers to refrain from unnecessary fault-finding, which includes actions like:

• Partially pressing buttons or thumbsticks to test minute variations in response.

• Forcing inputs or extreme movements to simulate excessive wear or malfunctions.

3. Natural Variation in Circularity: Our controllers feature high-quality thumbsticks designed for precision and durability. However, as with all hardware, slight variations in circularity (thumbstick movement range) may occur. Although we aim to keep this variation minimal, it is inherent to the product’s design. Circularity may not reflect a specific percentage at all times, as this can fluctuate within a reasonable margin. This is a natural trait of analog devices and does not indicate a defect.

4. Excessive Force and Misuse: Controllers are tested to withstand typical gaming conditions. However, misuse through excessive force, applying unnatural pressures, or attempting to induce malfunctions is not considered fair usage and may void warranty coverage.

5. Modifications and Unauthorized Repairs: Any third-party modifications or repairs may impact product performance and void warranty. Opening the controller, altering components, or making unauthorized adjustments goes beyond fair use and can affect the intended performance.

6. Respecting HYPR Controllers’ Quality Checks: Each controller is thoroughly inspected and tested before shipping. We ask customers to respect these quality checks and avoid seeking minor variations that have no meaningful impact on gameplay.

 

Acceptable Range and Reasonable Margins of Error

 All electronics and gaming hardware have acceptable margins of error due to natural variations. For HYPR Controllers:

• Minor deviations in button feel, thumbstick resistance, and circularity are within a reasonable and industry-accepted range.

• Slight variances do not affect gameplay and are not considered defects.

 

Responsible Handling and Storage

• Environmental Care: Keep controllers in suitable conditions, away from extreme heat, cold, moisture, or other harsh elements that can damage electronic parts.

• Gentle Cleaning: Use soft materials to clean your controller. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can harm the controller’s surfaces and internal components.
